organisation of Madras Institute of Technology, Anna university,
Chennai conducts its annual Fest Carte Blanche every year which is a Technical & Free and open Source Software Fest.

The occasion of the event for this year will be celebrated on

Richard Matthew Stallman,American software freedom activist is going to enrich us with his pre-fest lecture. The founder of GNU project,RMS is here for an EML to speak about the Free Software Movement campaign for computer users' freedom to cooperate and control their own computing.

Computer Society is a student association of the *Madras Institute of
Technology* which was established in the year 1983. Initially it was set up
to promote computer knowledge among students from various branches of
engineering but it later became an active participant in the FOSS movement.
