Greetings from IIT Bombay!
Let me introduce an amazing project of National importance, viz. 'Spoken Tutorial'. This project is teaching Free & Open Source Software like Linux, Scilab and Php & MySQL to all college students of India.

The mode of training is through workshops, held at individual college campuses, with guidance and materials provided by IIT Bombay. These workshops are of 2 hour duration and totally free of cost, as this project is sponsored by M.H.R.D, Govt. of India. Students need not leave their college campus, to attend these workshops.

Certificates from IIT Bombay can act as game-changers in the students' career! Students can achieve an edge in their CV by getting trained in some software and gaining experience in event management.

This training could be provided to students from stream of engineering/non engineering and even schools of any academic year. Please refer the list below.

Till date around 1 million Students have been benefited across India from July 2011.

The reason i wrote to you was for your guidance and support from your side for the development of this National Mission.IIT Bombay is trying to make a positive impact on coming generation by developing their IT skills.
